  • Our teaching methodology is understanding rather than learning information from brute force. We will teach you how to apply analytical and critical thinking skills, and how to fully understand and learn from chess. To truly grow in chess, the chess moves must not be regurgitated; the reasoning and thought process behind each move must be understood and developed.
  • Our unique Chess2All camp also incorporates a writing portion. Writing is a great way to expand creativity, thinking skills, and English skills. Additionally, writing is an art form that is extremely useful in all portions of one's life, from college essays to job resumes to English class. In the writing portion of our camp, each child will write their own piece filled with a plethora of impressive writing tools, such as rhetorical devices and other forms of figurative language.
Will all the Profits be donated?
Yes, every dollar will be donated to North Carolina Food Bank or to a chess-related foundation. We truly believe that we can make a positive difference during these uncertain times. We highly encourage each participant to donate more as we can provide food for those in need. Additionally, each chess-related foundation helps to spread chess to children and communities that wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to experience chess. Together, we can make a difference!
What is the price of the camp?
As we know that many chess lessons and camps are expensive, we have tried our best to make the camp affordable as well to help support the cause. The camp will cost $70 for 11 hours of instructional content. If you are interested in joining, but need financial aid, please contact us and we will be glad to help.
