REGISTRATION: 
​Blitz: Online registration has a deadline of April 24th. After that, it will be $10 extra until 5pm on April 30th. 
Rapid: Online registration has a deadline of April 24th. After that, it will be $10 extra until 9am on May 1st. ​

NC Girls State Chess Championship: 
​The NC Blitz and Rapid Championships are both side events of the NC Girls State Chess Championship.

Tournament Information:  

NC Blitz Tournament
SECTIONS: Open, U1500

ROUNDS AND TIMES: 7 rounds, 
​Starts at 7pm

TIME CONTROL:  3 minutes + 2

ENTRY FEE: $15 for U1500 section
$25 for Open section

PRIZES: U1500 - $50, $30, $20.
Open - $100, $75, $50

NC Rapid Tournament 
SECTIONS: Open, U1800, U1200, U800 and U400

ROUNDS AND TIMES: 4 rounds.
Starts at 10am, rest of the games are ASAP. 

TIME CONTROL:  G30+5  (30 minutes with 5 second increment every move)

ENTRY FEE: $25 for lower sections (U400, U800, U1200) 
$35 for higher sections (U1800 and Open) 

PRIZES: U1800 - $100, $60, $40.
Open - $200, $100, $50
