our approach
Our overall mission is to be able to empower others with the game of chess regardless of anyone's background.
  • We organize tournaments and provide chess lessons to raise money to fund programs that bring chess to more communities. Many of the events we hold are fundraisers for greater causes.
  • We donate chess sets and offer free lessons to schools in underprivileged neighborhoods as we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn and grow from the game of chess.
  • Chess2All sets up chess boards and learning opportunities at various festivals and events to spread the knowledge and fun of chess.
  • Our RTP girls chess club is dedicated to attracts more girls to chess.  We offer all girls tournaments, free lectures and fun play times to encourage more girls to play chess.
  • We are also running the All Stars Program, where we use a reward system to encourage more kids to learn and play chess.

The problem
Chess is beautiful game that helps to expand children's minds and sharpens your analytical skills. However, a plethora of children and others in our communities are not able to experience the game of chess.
Many obstacles such as the price of chess boards, chess pieces, and chess clocks hinder the opportunity for many to learn chess. Not to mention, many chess programs, lessons, and tournaments all come with expensive prices.

We will not allow this to continue. Chess2All is dedicated to making sure that ANYONE and EVERYONE is able to experience and grow from the game of chess, regardless of their background. That is why we are working to provide free chess lessons, boards, tournaments and fundraising events.

If you would like to join us in our mission to teach and inspire children and communities, please click the SUPPORT US button below. Every single thing you donate is greatly appreciated and leads us one step closer to spreading the knowledge of chess.

Why Chess?

What are the BENEFITS of Chess?
We are dedicated to not only spread HOW to play chess, but also the plethora of benefits that come with playing chess.
  1. Raises IQ                                                                                                    Playing chess increases a person's intelligence quotient, especially for children. A study, conducted with over 4,000 Venezuelan students, produced significant rises in the IQ scores of both boys and girls after 4 months of chess instruction.
  2. Improves Problem-Solving Skills                                                        Chess is all about sharpening your mental skills, and that includes problem-solving. Nearly 450 fifth-grade students were split into three groups in a 1992 study in New Brunswick. Group A was the control group and went through the traditional math curriculum. Group B supplemented the math with chess instruction after first grade, and Group C began the chess in first grade. On a standardized test, Group C’s grades went up to 81.2% from 62% and outpaced Group A by 21.46%.
  3. Improves Concentration                                                                              In order to play the mental sport that is chess, you must be focused and attentive. Every move must be thought out and the game is played with precision. Numerous studies of students in the U.S., Russia, China, and elsewhere have proven time and time again that young people’s ability to focus is sharpened with chess.
  4. Improves Creativity                                                                                       The game of chess exercises the right hemisphere of the brain, which is responsible for creativity. One four-year study had students from grades 7 to 9 play chess, use computers, or do other activities once a week for 32 weeks to see which activity fostered the most growth in creative thinking. The chess group scored higher in all measures of creativity.

More benefits include: Improved reading skills, Improved memory, Exercising both sides of the brain, Better critical analysis, and more!
